Will my lock be damaged if you have to pick it?
Nope. Lockpicking a lock doesn’t damage it if done correctly.
The only time your lock may be damaged during the process is if a drill is required to get inside. This isn’t usually the case, though, and is only used as a last resort.
What is rekeying a lock?
When you rekey a lock, you’re keeping the “outer shell,” but replacing the inside cylinder. This means you won’t have to get your lock completely replaced, but the old keys won’t open it anymore.
How fast do you respond to lockouts?
When it comes to emergency lockouts, we don’t waste time. We know how important it is to get back in fast, so we’ll be on the case shortly after your call.
Do you program car keys and Key fobs?
Yep! We offer car key programming and Fob replacements.
Why would I need my lock rekeyed?
There are a few situations where you might want to get a lock rekeyed instead of replaced.
If you lose your key and aren’t sure where it’s gone, it may be a good idea to get the corresponding locks rekeyed if you think it may have fallen into devious hands.
Another situation you may want to consider rekeying your locks is if you move into a new location.
When you move into a new location, it’s impossible to know exactly who has access to the old keys, so instead of fretting about it, you can just get the locks rekeyed, making the old keys effectively useless.
